The Ramadan trip returns to the Prophet’s Mosque after two years of absence

She returned to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, on Saturday, coinciding with the start of the month of Ramadan, after an absence of two years, due to the “Covid 19” epidemic.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, the trip returned in accordance with the requirements set by the General Presidency Agency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque, in light of an integrated system of services.

Earlier, media reports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mentioned Fawzi Al-Hujaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Services and Field Affairs, as saying that the General Presidency Agency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque had prepared a plan since the beginning of the current Hijri year for breakfast services for fasting people in the month of Ramadan.

The source stated that the plan focused on introducing the allowed number of meals according to the capacity of the Prophet’s Mosque, taking into account the reduction and reduction of wastes from fasting breakfast.

He pointed out that iftar service providers are obligated to be on the lists of the Fasting Breakfast Services Department, which have been registered since 1440 AH and above.
And the service provider can obtain the same space that he previously owned inside the Prophet’s Mosque, in order to provide breakfast services for those fasting there.

He stressed that breakfast should be according to the approved mechanism, which was in force earlier, and that it consists of dates, yogurt and partner.
