The Syrian girl, Nibal Qashash, who sells sweets and “girl’s cotton candy”, took the trend on social media after a customer posted her photos, to the admiration of the followers.
The pioneers of social networking sites interacted with Nibal’s photos, and some hoped that this girl would become a role model, away from criticism.
In a telephone conversation with Sham FM radio, Nibal explained that her project had started a year ago, and she made use of the machines that were in her father’s house.
Nibal added that she loves commerce and does not see that her work as a girl on a cart selling sweets is surprising, and a lot has contributed to her support in her project to break the stereotype that the girl works on the street, and confirmed that she works to feel financial independence away from dependence on parents.
It is noteworthy that the girl Nibal is completing her studies in the field of nursing, and considers this work a step towards a greater commercial ambition, despite her different academic specializations.
