The French Foreign Ministry summons the Russian ambassador

The Russian Embassy in Paris announced that the French Foreign Ministry had summoned the Russian ambassador, Alexei Meshkov, against the background of the Russian diplomatic mission’s comments on social media.
And the embassy wrote in a statement: “It was found that the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs read the publications of the Russian diplomatic mission.”
She added, “The Russian ambassador drew the attention of his French interlocutors to the provocations and sabotage actions against Russian headquarters” in France.
Earlier this month, the Russian embassy handed the French Foreign Ministry a note of protest against the attack on the Russian Cooperation Office in Paris.
Moscow called on Paris to “guarantee the security of Russian headquarters in all its various missions in France” and to abide by the diplomatic norms in force.
