The 29th International Book Fair opened in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, on Wednesday, March 23. This was reported by a spokesman for the “Books of Russia” program at the annual Moscow International Book Fair.
Russian writers actively participate in the Minsk Fair, where between March 23 and 27 this year, more than 50 Russian printing and publishing houses will present their publications.
The “Books of Russia” pavilion includes various topics, including: “Books in the City”, “Children’s Books”, “Fantasy Books”, and Books on Russia, which shed light on contemporary Russian literature and multinational Russian culture.
Visitors and guests of the exhibition will have the opportunity to meet Russian authors and see their new works. For example, the Russian writer, Anna Matveeva, known for her novel “The Story of the Nine Climbers”, met the readers and talked about her new book “Every Hundred Years”.
As for the writer, Dmitry Likhanov, he talked about his new novel “The Star and the Cross”. The Russian Technological University in Moscow held an interactive exhibition and a trip with the Museum of the History of Book Printing with its 23,000 ancient manuscripts.
