4 bands from Donetsk tour around Russia

This was announced by Andrei Malyshev, General Director of the company “Rosconsert”, which handles the affairs of music and entertainment programs in Russia, in an interview he gave to the Russian “TASS” agency. We are now carrying out unplanned concert tours of Donetsk Province artists in 54 Russian cities, he said.

According to Malyshev, the concert tour was first attended by the Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theater, the Puppet Theatre, the Youth Theater and the Donbass Academic Song and Dance Ensemble.

The administrations of all the mentioned Russian cities have responded to the initiative presented by the Russian company “Rosconsert”.

Its director said that the concert did not require big expenses and hoped that musical and theater groups from the Lugansk People’s Republic would join it.

It is noteworthy that the State Duma (the Russian parliament) adopted at the end of last February a law recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
