American raises $100,000 for Donbass victims

An American volunteer in the Donbass region raised $100,000 for victims affected by the bombing of Ukrainian forces.
The American Russell Bentley said in an interview with the agency “Sputnik” that he collected more than 100 thousand dollars to help the residents of the area affected by the Ukrainian bombing.
“I arrived in December 2014 as a volunteer in the Vostok battalion. I was a soldier from 2015 to 2017,” he added.
According to him, after participating in the battles, including at the airport of Donetsk and Avdiivka, he began to cover the conflict and provide humanitarian assistance.
“I’m the vice president of a fund in Florida. We’ve raised over $100,000 for good people in Donbass. To help children and the disabled,” the spokesperson said.
Bentley admitted that he fell in love with the people of Donbass as people with an open heart and were not afraid, people who combined kindness and heroism.
