5 poems by Russian poet of the 20th century fetch 1.5 million rubles at auction in Moscow

A rare sketch comprising 5 poems from “The Mist of Love” by the great Russian poet of the 20th century Marina Tsvetaeva has been sold at the Litfond auction in Moscow for 1.4 million rubles.
This was stated in a press release published by the auction “Litfond” in Moscow.
It is noteworthy that the scheme dates back to 1917, which coincides with the year of the revolution in Russia. Experts believe that 1917 is the year of the birth of the famous poetry collection.

An incomplete collection of memoirs from the life of Emperor Peter the Great (1672-1725) from the collection of works belonging to Emperor Alexander II (1818-1881) was auctioned off for 600,000 rubles. He also sold rare volumes that were not overlooked by the literary censorship of the great Russian writer Lev Tolstoy for 380 thousand rubles.

It is noteworthy that the talented Russian poet of the third third of the twentieth century, Marina Tsvetaeva (1892 – 1941), known for her feminine sentimental poetry, was born into the family of the patron of the “Pushkin Museum” in Moscow, and married an officer in the Russian White Guard, then emigrated with him to the West and returned to Russia, where she faced Injustice and tragic suffering caused her premature death in 1941.
