The theft of a box containing human heads donated for scientific purposes in America
Denver police, in the state of Colorado, are investigating the theft of a box containing human heads that were donated for scientific purposes.
Police were unable to make any arrests in the case, according to the local US media outlet KDVR.
“The donated tissue was taken from an insured truck that was in the process of returning the tissue to it, after completing an event related to medical training,” Science Care, a “body donation to science” program, told the American “Insider” website, on Monday.
According to the company’s statement, the donated tissue was inside a white cardboard box with its blue logo written on it when it was stolen. Science Care confirmed it was taking all necessary steps “to locate the stolen tissue and protect the community,” it said.
