The French company “Airbus” announced the suspension of all its technical services and work at its facilities located on Russian territory.
According to Western media, the company has stopped all support services for Russian airlines and the supply of spare parts to Russia.
The French company had announced earlier that it was analyzing the impact of the sanctions announced by the European Commission against Russia on the aviation industry.
An Airbus spokesman added: “We are still analyzing the impact of the announced sanctions, and it is too early to comment in detail on their impact, and we will comply with all applicable sanctions and laws once they enter into force.”
He continued, “The company is closely monitoring the situation with its partners, customers and suppliers, noting that it is a matter of concern to see the security situation deteriorating so rapidly in Europe.”
