Queen Elizabeth resumes her official duties after recovering from Corona

44
Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II held two meetings via video link today, Tuesday, after canceling her engagements last week as a result of her infection with Corona.
The health of the queen, who will celebrate her 96th birthday in April, has caused concern since she was tested positive for the virus on February 20.
But she has improved enough to video chat with the new ambassadors of Chad and Andorra from the Windsor Palace, where she resides.
In addition to announcing the two meetings, Buckingham Palace, which is very conservative about the details of the Queen’s health, published pictures of the two meetings showing her on the screen while she was wearing a green dress.

The heir to the throne, Prince Charles, said during a trip to southeast England that the Queen “is much better now”.
And last week, Queen Elizabeth II canceled similar meetings with diplomats because, according to her office, she was suffering from “mild” symptoms of Covid.
Since she spent a night in hospital in October, the Queen’s public appearances have become rare, but the palace recently announced the resumption of her public activities with an activity on March 29 in Westminster in memory of her late husband Prince Philip, who died last year.
