“Google” and “YouTube” impose restrictions on “Sputnik” and RT in Ukraine

The Russian “Sputnik” agency reported today, Sunday, that the “YouTube” site of the American company “Google” has blocked the Russian-language channel “Sputnik” in Ukraine.
“YouTube has blocked the Russian channel Sputnik on the territory of Ukraine. It seems that they need fake news more than others,” the agency said via Telegram.
Google has banned the download of the RT mobile app in Ukraine at the request of Kiev, RT reported on Sunday.
Earlier, YouTube restricted the display of RT channel content in Ukraine.
Yesterday, Saturday, Australia announced the suspension of the broadcast of RT channel on its territory, while the Moldovan authorities informed the local office of the Russian news agency “Sputnik” that its website would be blocked starting today, Saturday, and radio broadcasts starting from March 7.
These measures come against the background of the special military operation that the Russian forces are waging with the aim of protecting Donbass, disarming Ukraine and eliminating threats to Russia’s security from its territory.
