Death row man sentenced to death after pardon

A man under sentence of death died in Iran, after a decision was issued to pardon him. The man, named “Akbar”, breathed his last, an hour after he was taken to the hospital, according to the Iran FrontPage website. The incident took place in the coastal city of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
Akbar was accused of killing one of the men and three others. After their trial in court, he and his other partner were convicted and sentenced to death, while the other defendants were sentenced to prison terms.
But in the end, Akbar’s fate was death, as he was overjoyed by the decision to pardon him, after the family of the dead man disclosed about him. Akbar had committed the murder, for which he continued to fight the nightmare of the execution gallows, at the age of 37, and he died at the age of 55.
