The Turkish journalist, Gunjur Arslan, died after being taken to hospital, as a result of an armed attack in the northern state of Kocaeli.
In a statement, the Kocaeli Journalists Association announced that Arslan was subjected to an armed attack in his office, and condemned the attack on Arslan, who was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and died there.
For its part, the Kocaeli Governor’s Office stated that the perpetrator of the crime had been arrested and arrested by the security units, pointing out that a multifaceted investigation had been opened into this attack.
It should be noted that Gunjur Arslan is the founder of the news site “Voice of Kocaeli”.
