The city of Adana in southern Turkey witnessed the preparation of the longest chicken shawarma sandwich, with a length of 20 meters, in an effort to enter the Guinness Book of Records.
The huge “Shawarma sandwich” was prepared by Chef Mohamed Ikram and a team of 9 people in just 20 minutes, and it was displayed in front of his restaurant, and then served to the citizens.
Muhammad Ikram explained that their goal is to enter the Guinness Book of Records, and to publish the video clip of making the largest shawarma sandwich on social media, to gain millions of views, as the followers were impressed by the curved and longitudinal shape of the shawarma.
The Turkish chef also pointed out that he would try many things in order to get into the Guinness Book of Records, explaining that he had previously made a 2.5-meter sandwich, then another 5-meter-long sandwich, and this time it reached 20 meters.
He stressed that if he achieved a record and entered the world encyclopedia, this number would be for Turkey, and not only for him.
