Today, Wednesday, the Italian Ministry of Culture announced the death of Italian actress Monica Fetti, who was famous for her role in the films of Michelangelo Antonioni, at the age of 90.
In a statement, Culture Minister Dario Franceschini said: “Farewell, Monica Viti, goodbye, the Queen of Italian cinema.”
He added, “Today is a really sad day, we lost a great and great Italian artist.”
