The famous Russian film actor Leonid Kuravlyov has died at the age of 86, his son Vasily Kuravlyov said on Sunday.
It was previously learned that the actor was placed in the “Komonarca” hospital for treating Corona patients, after he contracted pneumonia, and the doctors did not confirm that he had “Covid-19”, and he was transferred to another hospital.
Leonid Koravlev was born on October 8, 1936 in Moscow in the family of an aircraft factory worker and a hairdresser. Koravlev admitted that he was not superior in studies, especially in school subjects such as chemistry, physics and mathematics, and this prompted him to choose the profession of an actor. And in 1955, Kuravlyov managed to enter the Gerasimov State Institute of Cinematography.
And Kuravlyov began to act in films since he was a student at the institute. During his career, he played about 200 roles in Soviet and Russian films and television, including the films “Vie”, “The Golden Calf”, “Ivan Vasilievich Changes His Profession”, “17 Moments of Spring”, “The Meeting Place cannot be changed”, and “The Barber of Siberia”, “Street of Broken Lamps”, and others.
