In an interesting incident, a man was fired from his job after a video of him assaulting his wife was spread!

The Chinese authorities arrested a man from Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, for 5 days, and he was dismissed from all his management positions in his company after a video clip spread of him beating his wife in the presence of their child.

The video shows the man, Wang Bingfei, committing domestic violence, as he hit his wife on the head for several minutes, while she was trying to protect their child.

Later, a post allegedly written by Wang’s wife went viral, saying that Wang had been physically abusing her since their marriage years ago.

Activists condemned Wang’s behavior, and strongly criticized the phenomenon of domestic violence. Some netizens who claimed to be Wang’s co-workers said the man appeared to be “modest and nice” at work and were shocked to find out that he had committed domestic violence.

Meanwhile, the Pacquiao Police Branch of the Xi’an Public Security Administration issued a statement on Saturday, saying that Wang’s wife reported the incident to the police last Wednesday night.

Police found that the couple had entered into a dispute over household chores. The wife’s words and actions escalated the conflict between them, causing domestic violence. The wife suffered some soft tissue injuries. Subsequently, the husband was placed in administrative detention for five days.
