Microsoft’s bid, at $95 per share, represents a 45 percent increase over Activision’s closing price on Wall Street on Friday, according to Reuters.
In trading before the US markets opened, Activision prices rose by 36.8 percent to $89.50 after suspending trading for a short period.
“These games are the most dynamic and exciting entertainment on any platform today and will play a major role in the development of the Metaverse platforms,” ​​said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
