Who is the Syrian Miss Britain, which was prevented from entering America?

Lynne Clive was crowned Miss Britain for married women, and she was going to represent Britain in the Miss World contest, but the US Embassy in London refused her entry to the United States.
Lynne Clive, a 29-year-old born in Damascus, arrived in the UK from Syria in 2013, carrying a “clothing bag” on her back, before studying at university, learning English and training to become a doctor in the National Health Service, according to ” Britain’s Daily Mail.

Lynn, who also works as a TV presenter, obtained British citizenship in August 2020, and was looking forward to celebrating her trip to America as a British citizen, who will represent the United Kingdom in the global competition, after being crowned Miss Britain in 2020.

But Clive’s dream is faltering, as she is not sure whether she will participate in the competition after being refused entry to the United States, while Lynn and some activists believe that this refusal is related to her Syrian background.

Unless the problem is quickly resolved, it will be the first time that the UK has not been represented at this week-long global event, which begins on Sunday in Las Vegas, in its 37-year history.
