“Spiderman: No Way Home” is the first movie to have grossed over a billion dollars in the time of the pandemic

The new action and adventure movie “Spiderman: No Way Home” has grossed more than one billion dollars globally, becoming the first movie to reach this number in light of the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic.

The film stars Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, and directed by John Watts, and has achieved these revenues in just 12 days.

The film topped the North American box office at the weekend, recording $81 million.

In second place was the animated musical “Singh 2”, with $23.7 million.

“The Matrix Razeractions” took third place, by a large margin, with $12 million.

Thriller “The Kingsman” came in fourth with $6.3 million in the weekend.

In fifth place was “American Underdog”, with revenues of $6.2 million, starring Zachary Levi, Anna Paquin, Dennis Quaid, Adam Baldwin, and directed by John Irwin and Andrew Irwin.
