A microchip under the skin to store the vaccination passport against Corona.

A Swedish company has managed to develop a microchip that can be used to store passport data against the “Corona” virus under the skin.
According to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, the technology allows the user to obtain a “Covid 19” certificate, which indicates that its holder has received the vaccine against the Corona virus, on the arm or in other places of the body such as the thumb or forefinger.

As the Swedish company explained, the chip uses an NFC (Near Field Communication) device to communicate with any nearby compatible smartphone.

Regarding the procedure for placing the chip, the company confirmed that it is very simple and includes only a small incision, because the chip does not exceed the size of a grain of rice, and it can also be removed easily if desired.
A video clip published by the Swedish company showed how the device works, as it automatically connects to the nearest NFC-equipped phone, after which the vaccination certificate appears on the terminal screen with the documents necessary to be submitted to health authorities, whose content is read by a radio frequency scanner RFID “Radio Wave Identification”. .
The company indicated that the technology used for the purpose of storing the passport data for vaccination against the Corona virus, can be applied during the coming years for other types of purposes.
