The Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, seeks to continue collecting the distinguished personal numbers, when facing Newcastle United today, Thursday, in the 17th round of the English Premier League.

According to Russia Today, if Mohamed Salah succeeds in scoring or assisting a goal in tonight’s match against “Al-Makabes”, he will be in front of another record.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, who has the longest winning streak in the Premier League, would equal 15 games between August and December 2015.

The Egyptian star strengthened his lead in the list of top scorers in the English Premier League, with 14 goals, 5 goals behind Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, the runner-up with 9 goals.

Liverpool is currently ranked second in the Premier League with 37 points, 4 points behind leaders Manchester City, while Newcastle United is in the nineteenth place with 10 points.
