Singer Tori Lenz will face 22 years in prison for shooting singer Megan the Stallion

A Los Angeles court decided Tuesday to prosecute Canadian rapper Tori Lenz for shooting singer Megan the Stallion in the feet after a Hollywood party.

In the details of the incident that occurred in June 2020, a quarrel broke out between the hip-hop star and Tori Lenz on their way back together in one car from a party hosted by Kylie Jenner.

A detective told the court that Megan the Stallion had asked to get out of the car, and Tori Lenz had only yelled at her, “Dance, you…” and then shot her in the feet with a pistol.

The singer fell to the ground after hitting her feet and bleeding profusely, and crawled into a nearby house.

The Canadian rapper, who said he was drunk when he was shot, apologized to Megan the Stallion and offered to accompany her home. In her testimony to investigators, the singer indicated that Tori Lenz had offered her money in exchange for her silence about this incident.

Megan the Stallion was taken to hospital, initially unwilling to make a fuss about the incident. Doctors removed a number of bullet fragments from it. She told the police that shrapnel remained on her feet and that she was in pain when wearing certain types of shoes.

Investigators found four bullet casings at the scene.

Tori Lenz, whose real name is Dystar Peterson, has denied any responsibility.

In the lyrics of a song on his “Dystar” album, he even asked how someone could say they were shot in the feet without “any bones or tendons” being hit.

The 29-year-old rapper, who is currently on bail, has been charged with assault with a semi-automatic weapon and carrying an unlicensed firearm. He faces a prison sentence of more than 22 years if convicted.
