Last Wednesday, the French prosecutor released the Saudi citizen, Khaled Al-Otaibi, who had been arrested in Paris earlier in connection with the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The French prosecutor later announced that the process of verifying the identity of the arrested concluded that the arrest warrant did not apply to him, as a French police source explained that the man was arrested at the airport last Tuesday morning when his passport sounded an alarm when examined with a scanner, indicating that the warning He showed that he is wanted in connection with a murder investigation, based on a Turkish arrest warrant.
