India… Hospital fire kills 4 out of 40 infants

4 out of 40 infants who were in a special care unit in a hospital run by the Indian government, in the center of the country, were killed when a fire broke out.
This was reported by the Chinese “Xinhua” agency, today, Tuesday, in a news report about the fire, noting that the accident occurred in a government hospital in the state of Madhya Pradesh, central India, on Monday night.

The agency pointed out that the fire broke out in the infant firefighting care unit, which led to the death of 4 of them, noting that the unit contained 40 infants when the fire broke out.

According to the agency, the children who were taken out of the burning wing were taken to another place.

And the local authorities in the state announced the opening of an investigation into the accident to determine its circumstances.
