Google breaks its silence about a security issue in its new “Pixel 6” phone

Many of those who bought the new Google Pixel 6 phone are complaining of a security problem, which is the slow response of the fingerprint recognition feature.

Some users have explained that the slow performance of the fingerprint sensor in the phone may be due to Google’s use of the fingerprint reader under the screen instead of the ultrasonic sensor found in other smartphones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S21.

In its first response to the problem, Google explained in its response to a user via its Twitter account that the fingerprint reader in the Google Pixel 6 phone uses “improved security algorithms.”

And she added that these additional protections may take longer to verify the identity of the owner of the phone, or require more direct contact with the sensor.

It is noteworthy that reports yesterday, Sunday, detected another problem in the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones, which is that their optional charger does not have a power of 30 watts, as Google promoted it in its ads.

The Google Pixel 6 phone was unveiled on October 19, along with the Google Pixel 6 Pro phone, and both were released on the market on October 25.

The Google Pixel 6 comes with a 6.4-inch flat screen and Full HD Plus resolution.

As for the larger Google Pixel 6 Pro, it features a 6.7-inch curved screen, Quad HD Plus resolution, and a 4-fold camera.
