Arab actress participates in the latest Hollywood films

Algerian actress, Sofia Boutella, participated in the latest Hollywood science fiction movie, entitled “Rebel Moon”.

The United States Embassy in Algeria posted on its Facebook account, “The United States Embassy is pleased to receive news of the participation of Algerian actress Sofia Boutella in the upcoming movie “Rebel Moon.” Zack Snyder will direct the science fiction adventure on Netflix, Snider Maarouf With films such as “300”, “Man of Steel” and “Watchmen”.

She added, “Boutella got her first major role in the movie The Kingsman, then co-starred in The Mummy with Tom Cruise and Atomic Blonde with Charlize Theron. Boutella hails from the Bab El Oued district of Algiers and is the daughter of jazz singer Safi Boutella. She is considered Sofia Another example of how the Algerian community in the United States has thrived in a wide range of fields, from entrepreneurship to the arts to science.”

And in April, it was reported that Boutella had taken the lead in a new science-fiction movie on Mars called “The Settlers.”

The thriller revolves around a family of refugees who have fled Earth and struggle to survive on the desolate land of Mars.

The film is the feature film debut of writer and director Wyatt Rockefeller, as Boutella plays Elsa, a mother trying to protect her 9-year-old daughter, Remy, when settlers follow them as they try to build a life in the harsh alien terrain.

It is noteworthy that Algerian actress Boutella co-starred with international star Tom Cruise in the movie The Mummy, and also participated in many Hollywood artworks.
