McDonald’s in Saudi Arabia comments on the incident of assaulting its employees

A video clip circulated on the communication sites of a number of people attacking the employees of the “McDonald’s” restaurant in Saudi Arabia caused a sensation, while the “McDonald’s” company confirmed that the employees who were attacked are fine, while the Public Prosecution announced the arrest of those involved.

The clip shows a group of young men entering into a quarrel with workers in a fast food restaurant, and one of the employees falls to the ground.

The rest of the young men attack another employee and then leave, leaving chaos in the restaurant.

“McDonald’s” company in Saudi Arabia commented, “We would like to express our deep regret for what happened and assure that all our employees, thankfully, are fine.” However, some of them sustained minor injuries and were treated immediately after the accident. The response came to a tweet by a Saudi citizen who inquired about the condition of an employee.

For its part, the Saudi Public Prosecution announced that it was able to identify and arrest them in Al-Kharj Governorate, and they are (5) citizens, and they were arrested, and initial legal measures were taken against them, and referred them to the Public Prosecution.
