Newcastle United have officially announced the departure of manager Steve Bruce.
Newcastle said in an official statement that Steve Bruce had left his position as head coach by mutual consent.

The club thanked Bruce for his efforts with the team over the past period and wished him success in the future.
The club added that the process of appointing Bruce’s successor is ongoing and will be announced in due course.
In this context, the “The Athletic” website stated that Bruce will receive 8 million pounds in compensation in exchange for terminating his contract with Newcastle.
It is noteworthy that Bruce led Newcastle in 97 matches, winning 28, drawing 28 and losing 41 in all competitions.
Bruce’s last confrontation with Newcastle was against Tottenham, and he lost 3-2 in the first match of the new era after the Saudi Investment Fund bought the club.
Newcastle United’s balance froze at 3 points in 19th place in the English Premier League table.
