The specialized technical website Engadget said that Instagram’s announcement of the new technology came days after a sudden big malfunction that faced the platform for more than 6 hours.

And “Instagram” explained that the new technology is expected to provide an “internal notifications” system aimed at alerting users to the presence of temporary problems with the service, such as outages or other technical problems, and that new alerts will appear in the users’ activity log, along with other notifications within the application.
