A pelican declares mourning after he grieves his family

Russian citizens have monitored a very sad story of a very beautiful swan, which residents called “Gosha”, as he announced mourning for his family, whose members died one by one in a Russian lake.

“Gosha” used to visit a Russian lake every year with his large family, but he entered a state of great shock and sadness, and refused to emigrate from the area that was associated with the departure of his family consisting of a wife and a group of chicks.

According to the citizens who were accustomed to the annual visits of “Gosha” after every migration he made with his wife, only the bird was afflicted after the illness of its children, and they died one after the other, and then his wife died after them. The bird entered a strange state of mourning, which was noticed by all the residents of the area, and refused to leave the place.

Pelicans are famous for their strong bonds, as these beautiful birds enter adulthood late at the age of 4 and 7 years, but they form social pair bonds from the age of 20 months, which last for several years, and sometimes these relationships continue until their death.
