Liverpool won a landslide victory over its host Watford 5-0, today, Saturday, in the opening of the eighth round of the English Premier League.
Liverpool’s goals were scored by Sadio Mane in the 9th minute, Roberto Firmino “hat-trick” in the 37th, 52nd and 90th minutes, and Mohamed Salah in the 54th minute.
Liverpool raised its score with this victory to 18 points, while Watford froze at 7 points, in fifteenth place.
Senegalese Sadio Mane joined the Hundred Club in the Premier League in the same match, after he scored his 100th goal in the Premier League, the first goal for Liverpool against Watford today, becoming the third African player to reach the 100-goal mark in the Premier League.
While Salah scored his 104th goal in today’s match.
And Mohamed Salah can be alone at the top of the list of the best African scorers in the English Premier League through any other goal he scores for Liverpool.
