British singer, Adele Adkins, revealed her first song in six years, entitled “Easy On Me”, and posted a video of it on YouTube.
In just a few hours, the video has garnered more than 18 million views and nearly 1.5 million likes. In the comments, fans wrote, “Welcome back, Queen!”, “Thank you for coming back.”
In announcing her first album in six years, Adele wrote that those years were the most “turbulent periods” of her life, but she has dealt with hardships, and is now feeling more at peace than ever.
The song “Easy On Me” will be included on the artist’s upcoming album “30”. It is scheduled to be released on November 19.
At the end of 2018, the star stated that singing and touring did not bring her happiness. She applied to close her music business. The reason was that the singer wanted to be with her children and husband more often, but fans did not accept this and launched a flash group called #AdeleChallenge on social networks.
In April 2019, Adele filed for divorce after three years of marriage to businessman Simon Konecki. During the divorce, the couple agreed to joint custody of Angelou’s son.
