The arrest of an Egyptian who had plastic surgery for camels to raise its price

The Saudi authorities announced the arrest of an Egyptian national who practiced beautifying camels in order to increase their price.

And the Saudi Public Security said, in a statement: “The inference procedures of the Al-Ahsa Governorate Police, in coordination with the Riyadh police, resulted in the identification of an Egyptian visitor in the fourth decade of life who had been involved in plastic surgery for camels that would modify their congenital specifications for the purpose of increasing their value when selling.”

He pointed out that “the arrest process came in cooperation with the Camel Club and in accordance with the security follow-up to the violations and the arrest of the perpetrators. Some tools and preparations used in such operations were seized, and initial legal measures were taken against him and referred to the competent authority.”
