‘Pandora’s Papers’: Aliyev family sold £400m property in Britain

According to the results of the international investigation “Pandora’s Papers”, the family of Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, sold properties in Britain worth 400 million pounds in recent years.
The Guardian newspaper reported that “Pandora Papers”, the results of an investigative report published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism, indicated that “the ruling Aliyev family in Azerbaijan has sold property in Britain worth 400 million pounds in recent years.”

Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told the Russian “National Defense” magazine that “work is going well in all areas, especially in the field of military-technical cooperation, and of course we are now looking at new inventions, expert teams have begun to study new possibilities, and we have applied. Hence, cooperation with Russia will witness development in this field as well.”

Aliyev praised the role of Russian President Putin in settling the armed conflict in the Karabakh region in the fall of 2020, noting that he had reached an agreement with Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, for a ceasefire through phone calls with President Putin.
