Before losing your iPhone
You can activate the feature to find a lost iPhone, even if it is locked, by following the following steps
1. Go to your settings.
2. Click on your name, then the “Find my phone” icon.
3. Click on the “Find my iPhone” option.
4. Enable the feature after upgrading the operating system to “iOS 15”.
5. Activate Find My Network, which allows you to find your phone even if it is not connected to the Internet.
6. Enable the “last location” feature of your iPhone to be sent to your Apple account as soon as the battery is about to run out.
When you lose your iPhone
And when your iPhone is lost, you can find the phone by following these steps:
1. You can track your lost iPhone by using Find My Phone app on any other iPhone or Mac.
2. Go to iCloud.com/find browser.
3. Log in with your iCloud account.
4. Once you enter the “Find My Phone” icon, you will find a green dot locating the lost iPhone.
5. Select the dot and then the letter “i”.
6. You will find the option to play the audio in your phone or erase all data for the iPhone.
7. You can also keep the phone in ‘lost mode’ until you reach its location.
8. Follow the map instructions to get to where your iPhone is, even if the phone is dead or turned off.
