Egyptian star Mohamed Salah topped the Premier League’s top scorer list after Liverpool drew 3-3 with its host Brentford.
Jamaican Ethan Benosk scored the goal for Brentford after a perfect cross from young Englishman Evan Toni.
The joy of the young team did not last only 4 minutes, as Portuguese Diego Jota scored a goal for Liverpool in the 31st minute, to end the first half with a tie with one goal for each team.
After the start of the second half with 8 minutes, Salah grabbed the lead for the Reds after a long pass from the Brazilian Fabinho to reach his number 5 goal this season in the league, before the Brentford team equalized with the header of German Vitaly Yantel.
England international Curtis Jones scored the third goal for Liverpool in the 67th minute before leaving his place to Brazilian star Roberto Firmino.
Substitute Yooanni Wissa equalized the score in the 82nd minute, to the astonishment of the Liverpool fans.
With this result, Liverpool raised its score to 16 points from 6 matches, to rise to the top of the English Premier League table after Chelsea’s loss to Manchester City, while Brentford’s balance rose to 9 points, in ninth place in the league table.
