The zoo “Zambezi River” in the Russian city of Kazan received six flamingos from Syria.
The zoo management said that the six birds are currently subject to quarantine for a month, after which they are combined with the rest of the birds.
Last August, the Zoo welcomed 20 flamingos from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Flamingos are social birds and do not live alone, as they prefer to live in groups.
