Ibrahimovic will miss Liverpool’s Champions League match

Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is absent from his AC Milan match with Liverpool in the first round of the European Champions League.

The coach of the Italian team, Stefano Pioli, confirmed in his press conference the absence of the Swede from the match, saying, “He came out of Sunday’s match injured. We were hoping that he would recover, but he suffers from a little pain in the tendon and therefore it is better not to risk it.”

It is noteworthy that the Swede participated in the meeting of his team in the Italian League as a substitute against Lazio to score a goal, before he felt some pain at the level of the Achilles tendon, which made the coach refuse to risk it in the Liverpool match.
