American actor Jeff Bridges: My infection with Corona made cancer seem “a very easy thing”

The American actor, Jeff Bridges, recounted his arduous journey with the infection of the emerging “Corona” virus at the beginning of this year.

Bridges, 71, revealed in a statement on his official website that he had contracted the Corona virus, while he was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.
He said that he received a message after the chemist on January 7, stating that he had contracted (Covid-19), to be transferred with his wife to the hospital, after it was also confirmed that she was infected with the coronavirus.

He indicated that he stayed in the hospital for treatment of the Corona virus for 5 weeks, while his wife remained for only 5 days.

He explained that the reason for his long stay in the hospital is that his immune system was damaged from chemotherapy, and he stressed that his infection with corona makes cancer seem like a very easy thing.

In his statement, Bridges told his fans that while he had experienced moments of intense pain, he felt happy and joyful most of the time, and that life was short and beautiful.

Jeff Bridges added that he has now received two doses of the “Corona” vaccine and “feels much better,” and announced that his cancer is in remission.

He pointed out that the size of the mass in his body shrunk to become the size of marble.

Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with lymphoma last October.

And Bridges announced last March that he had contracted the new “Corona” virus, but he assured his fans that he was late in the announcement after he felt that he was able to defeat him.
