Indian soldiers tow a T-90 tank manually

Usually used to tow tanks are locomotives, tractors, or repair and evacuation vehicles such as the Russian-made BREM-1 or T-16.

And often the tanks themselves participate in the evacuation of armored vehicles, and sometimes a few tanks participate in that if armored vehicles are in place in a river or swamp.

While one of the Indian armored regiments witnessed its personnel training to evacuate a Russian-made T-90S tank, and for this purpose, the personnel installed ropes in the front of the tank. More than 20 military and civilian personnel pulled it and were able to move the tank to cover some distance, knowing that it weighed more than 46000 kilograms.

It is noteworthy that the Bhishma tank (T-90) often participates in military parades to show the ability of the Indian ground forces, as it crosses various barriers and even achieves leaps to a distance of many meters.
