On Tuesday, the Turkish Emergency and Disaster Management Agency (AFAD) said that an earthquake measuring 5 degrees hit the city of Kutahya, western Turkey.
According to “Afad”, the earthquake occurred at 14:04, at a depth of 7.16 kilometers below the surface of the earth. According to “Anadolu Agency”.
AFAD said in a statement that the epicenter of the quake occurred 1.23 km from Osmaniye village in the Altazan Tash district.
AFAD recorded 16 aftershocks, after the quake, whose intensity ranged between 1 and 2.5 on the Richter scale.

The Turkish Emergency and Disaster Management confirmed that it had not received any reports of loss of life or property.
