The cases of the emerging coronavirus in the English Premier League have risen to 16 in the latest round of tests among the 3,060 players and members of the support staff who were tested.

And according to an official announcement issued today, Monday: “The Premier League will use certain tests for the current season, and anyone who is found to be infected will undergo another test of a different type to confirm the result,” according to “Reuters.”

Christian Pulisic, a Chelsea player, contracted Covid-19 last week, as well as Ben White, a new Arsenal player, both of whom missed the top two teams that Chelsea won 2-0, yesterday, Sunday, to top the league.

Arsenal attacking duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were among four players in the team who contracted the virus a week ago, but Aubameyang returned to his team for yesterday’s match.

As of July 30, 46.81 million people received the first dose of the vaccine against corona, while 38.13 received the second dose.

According to these figures, the proportion of adults who received the first dose of the vaccine in Britain was 88.4 percent, while the proportion of those who received the two doses was 71.8 percent.

And the British Ministry of Health announced that it is expanding a pilot program of daily Corona tests to include a wider group of major employers in an attempt to reduce employee absence from work due to the current epidemic wave.
