A specialized cardiologist has provided a set of tips for people who have been infected with the “Corona” virus in order to avoid exposure to heart problems that may be a direct cause of death.

Russian cardiologist and cardiovascular surgeon, Vladimir Khrushchev, said in an interview with “Live” that those who have been infected with the Corona virus need at least 2-2.5 liters of water per day. He explained that this volume includes not only drinking water, but also all fluids that a person receives with food. However, if you do not achieve this minimum, you can develop a post-thrombosis.

Explaining that the person consumes little fluid, the water excretion through sweating, urination, etc. remains at the same level, which means that the liquid component in the blood decreases, and this leads to a very high risk of causing blood clots.

The doctor added that with “Covid-19” disease, blood clots often form in the blood vessels, and this is due to the fact that the virus infects the cells of the inner surface of all arteries, veins and capillaries. These cells regulate blood clotting, and if they don’t work, the blood thickens when it’s not needed. Therefore, it is useful to avoid all products that make blood viscous.

No sweet soda, no coffee

The doctor advised not to take these drinks in hot weather, such as sugary soft drinks, because they increase the viscosity of the blood and slow the flow of blood, and this leads to an increase in clot formation. Coffee also thickens the blood, so it should be avoided.

The doctor advised to drink bottled water without gas, and drinks from some fruits and berries.

Drinks from apples, soaking and compotes improve blood fluidity. And the best thing in this case is cranberry. All these fruits and fruits well increase the fluidity of the blood and significantly reduce its viscosity. Moreover, it has an anti-inflammatory effect, that is, it reduces inflammation and, accordingly, edema of the inner lining of the arteries and blood vessels, which again reduces the likelihood of developing blood clots.
