Inter Milan fans attack Lukaku, calling him a “traitor”

A number of Inter Milan fans have attacked the Belgian Romelu Lukaku, and defaced his mural, after his move to Chelsea.

On August 11, Lukaku arrived in London to complete the contract with Chelsea for 97.5 million pounds (115 million euros).

After Lukaku moved to Chelsea, a number of Inter Milan fans attacked the player, and a mural of him was defaced outside the San Siro stadium.

Inter Milan fans wrote on the mural that Romelu Lukaku was a “loser traitor”.

Lukaku had moved to Inter Milan in the summer of 2019, to contribute greatly to the Italian team’s victory in the Serie A championship last season.
