How to encrypt a secret file when sending it

The transition to remote work due to the Corona pandemic has increased the risks of electronic attacks due to the large number of daily correspondence, which calls for high protection programs.

IT-Reserve Director Pavel Masoyedov said: “Document encryption software is suitable for secure file transfer, which leads to the creation of a private key through which the file is sealed by you and printed by the recipient. The more serious the encryption scheme, the more complex this key appears… A file sealed with such a key can only be opened with a specially created certificate.”

He continued: “A document with this level of encryption can only be opened through a program in which this certificate is preloaded – in other words, the user does not see the key in the form of a set of shapes, but rather the protection occurs at the program level.”

The expert also recommends the use of instant messengers that offer “the so-called peer-to-peer communication” with which you can “bypass external servers when transferring data, so that files do not pass through the hands of a third party”.
