Do you dream of a James Bond life and living on an island?… This is what Ibiza offers in addition to the money for the party
Have you ever dreamed of living the life of James Bond, but this time on the picturesque island of Ibiza in Spain, working as an undercover agent for the local police?
As the island police seek to form a crew of foreigners whose mission is to hide in parties that violate the restrictions imposed to confront the Corona virus, and report them to the authorities.
These people are also given sums of money to celebrate on the island in exchange for the spy mission.
As for the reason for the police to form this unit of foreigners, it is because people know the local police force.
“It is not easy, because the people we are looking for are foreigners between the ages of 30 and 40, but we have been working on it for two weeks,” a local official, Mariano Juan, told Diario.
The island of Ibiza imposed a comprehensive ban on gatherings between families, daily from one in the morning until six in the morning, during the last month of July.
The island also witnessed a worrying rise in cases of Corona virus, last July, after it opened its doors to tourists last June.
