The story of a Chinese doctor who spends 58 years treating patients

A Chinese doctor managed to treat huge numbers of patients during his career, which is close to 6 decades, he spent providing medical services to those who need them, wherever they are.
The Chinese doctor, Wu Ding Yun, became at the age of 80, of which he spent 58 years in the medical profession, in which he spared no effort to save people’s lives, says China International Television Network, in a video clip posted on its official page on Twitter.

The network says that the Chinese doctor spent about half his time from the sixties to the eighties of the last century on horseback, in order to reach the homes of patients and treat them.

She continued, “Ding Yun was the director of the People’s Hospital of Wuxia County, in China’s Xinjiang region.

Wu Ding Yun’s story began in 1963, when he graduated from medical school and volunteered as a surgeon at Wuxia Hospital, which had only two doctors.

Despite that, the two doctors’ mission was to provide treatment and medical care to 43,000 people in the governorate, and one of the most prominent surgical operations was to save a child suffering from burns by cutting 13 pieces of skin from the legs.

Although he retired from work 20 years ago, he still comes to the hospital and is involved in treating patients every day.
