The Russian Foreign Ministry announced, today, Tuesday, that the internal contradictions in Tunisia must find a solution in the legal field alone.

A statement issued by the ministry stated that Moscow proceeds from the fact that “the internal contradictions in Tunisia will find their solution exclusively within the legal sphere.” The Foreign Ministry also expressed its hope that “the friendly relations between Russia and Tunisia will continue and develop steadily for the benefit of the peoples of our two countries.”

The ministry indicated that the reports received from Tunisia indicate that the situation in the country’s capital and major cities has calmed down in general, and that the international airport, public facilities and transportation means in the country are operating normally.
