A Swiss security expert said that the database of users’ phones of the “Club House” application is for sale in the “Dark Web”, noting that this database contains 3.8 billion phone numbers.
Mark Reeve stated in tweets through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”, that the list of numbers includes not only the numbers of users of the application, but also the numbers of people whose information has been synced from the contact lists of application users.
The security expert pointed out that there are great possibilities of including people on the list, even if they do not have accounts in the application.
Full phone number database of #Clubhouse is up for sale on the #Darknet. It contains 3.8 billion phone numbers. These are not just members but also people in contact lists that were synced. Chances are high that you are listed even if you haven't had a Clubhouse login. pic.twitter.com/PfAkUJ0BL5

Media reports say that Mark Reeve’s tweets reveal the danger of “Club House” on the privacy of its users, which is something experts in the field have warned against.
The app faces accusations that its rooms are witnessing talks about bullying, sexual harassment, anti-Semitism, and disparagement of religions.
